If you want to have solar system for home, you will need to know what steps to be taken so that you can fully see the result from using it. You will be able to benefit the cleaner energy and you can also save a lot of money on your bills.
Here are the steps including:
1 See how much you are using energy right now. You will need to evaluate how you are using the power and at what level. You should know what you are using and what you want in the future. You will have to design good solar system for home that suit your needs. You will also have to check if there is any leakage in your system so that you can at least fix it before you decide to make further move.
2) Find out good and not expensive components. For your proper decision, you will have to know what type of components you want and at what cost. You probably have to do further research in order to be able to find the right source of them.

3) Make the module yourself – Please check if all the solar cells are good then you can start looking at the manual and build the panels as you have designed.
4) Have your solar module installed – You already have your design from the earlier steps, follow your design and install them. Either placing the solar modules on the roof or ground is OK. In my opinion, the roof modules should be more suitable since it get more sunlight.
5) Your solar system for home needs battery for supplying your house–It is not possible that you use the electricity directly from the solar panels. At least not now. You will see that the power supply is not enough and neither it is consistent. Get the battery bank built is necessary.
The controller which is connected to the solar cells will be used to charge the battery up. Your house appliances including your stereo, TV or computer will use alternate current AC. So, you will have to convert the produced Direct current DC to AC.
